Dance Floor Custom Greens is currently holding a raffle to support The First Tee of Lakeland. The $50 raffle ticket entitles the winner to a custom putting green worth an estimated $12,000. The proceeds will go to benefit the children's golf charity in Lakeland, Florida.
We chose this organization after meeting and spending time with Brad Bryant, a professional touring on the Champions Tour. We recently played with him at the Outback Steakhouse ProAm in Tampa. He explained to us how closely associated he is with the program in Lakeland and how he does what he can to help. We went to visit recently during a tournament they hold every year at the YMCA public 9-hole course. The event is put on by Barkley, Bryant, Bean & Friends. Brad works closely with his younger brother Bart, Charles Barkley, and Andy Bean to provide as much support as they can for the kids in Lakeland. We quickly discovered that they need much more. Seeing the excitement in the eyes of the underprivileged children as they grabbed a putter and gave a try on the showgreen we set up was enough to make us realize we had to do something.

The drawing will be held late this spring. Check back here for dates. The putting green prize may be substituted for a synthetic lawn replacement of equal value if desired.
